Todd Korogi

Chief Executive Officer

Todd started his career as a Quality Engineer in product development in an injection molding facility at Parker Hannifin. He continued his career at another injection molding facility in a joint venture with ITW as a Corporate Quality Manager over several facilities, managing the commercialization and delivery of quality components and assemblies to the automotive industry. From there, Todd moved to North Carolina from Ohio and took another Quality Manager position at an injection molding company, Injectronics.

Todd transitioned to the medical device industry, where he applied his knowledge to product development for Alaris Medical Systems. In 2002, Todd started Gilero with a co-worker from Alaris, focusing the business on medical device product development services for device and pharmaceutical customers. Gilero celebrated its 17-year anniversary in 2019, but in 2011… Todd started to transition out of his daily role at Gilero to build the spin-out company Yukon Medical. Todd is interested in creating company value by identifying significant market opportunities and the corresponding clinical needs.

He is also focused on ensuring the highest integrity and ethical standards in his company and helping others achieve their personal and professional goals—he is a firm believer in the quote “a rising tide lifts all boats.” He has created a values-based culture that encourages innovation and which demonstrates strong employee engagement.

Todd earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Akron. He most enjoys making his two teenage kids laugh, reading books on business and self-improvement, listening to music, researching technology gadgets, and college sporting events.

Pamela McNulty

Senior Director, Quality Assurance and Compliance

Pam McNulty is a senior level management and quality professional with expertise in leading quality, engineering, and project/product development teams. Pam’s expertise stems from more than 25 years of experience in the medical device and microelectronics industries. As Senior Director of Quality and Compliance at Yukon Medical, she oversees the activities to maintain and enhance Quality Management System compliance with 21CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and multiple ever-changing international regulations for vial access and IV administration medical devices. The maintenance and enhancement of the system is critical in that it provides the framework for excellent product quality and exceeding customer expectations.

Pam has led various cross functional teams to obtain several device 510(k) clearances in the U.S., licensing in Canada, and CE Mark in the European Union, facilitating product sales in all these locations. Work is currently underway to register one of the company’s devices in 21 countries.

Previously, Pam facilitated the development of a successful and compliant quality system for a novel implantable radiation dosimeter company in addition to validation of their document control and training systems. She also oversaw the product sterilization program and worked with company management to implement a Change Review Board to facilitate the product change process. And as Intersil Durham’s Management Representative and Development Product and Test Manager, she led and championed several new product development teams, which brought new products to market resulting in $2.1M revenue over five quarters.

Prior to her position at the Intersil design facility, Pam also held various quality and engineering management positions at the company’s microelectronics manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio.

Pam earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University in New York and completed the BioWorks program at Wake Tech. She is an ASQ certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence and holds a RAC (Regulatory Affairs Certificate) and a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Tom Fraites

Senior Director, Product Development

As both a scientist and engineer, Tom has spent his entire career at the intersection of technologies and healthcare applications. As part of his graduate training at the University of Florida Powell Gene Therapy Center, Tom published some of the first demonstrations of correction of a musculoskeletal disorder using recombinant viral gene therapy vectors and also contributed key data demonstrating the preclinical efficacy of an enzyme replacement therapy. During that time, he also completed a joint program in business and biotechnology, which planted the seeds for a career in the biomedical industry.

Beginning with his postdoctoral fellowship, Tom led numerous technology development programs in cell therapy, regenerative medicine, and enabling technologies at BD Technologies (Becton Dickinson) in North Carolina.

After successfully bringing several custom cell culture environments to the point of commercialization, Tom relocated to New Jersey and moved into a medical device product development role at BD Medical, Medication Delivery Solutions. During his five years in New Jersey, Tom led an R&D organization that was responsible for design, development, commercialization, sustaining engineering, and life cycle management for a product franchise spanning fourteen manufacturing sites, four continents, and over 10 billion single-use disposable medical devices per year. In his current role, Tom leads the design and development activities for Yukon Medical’s core product portfolio and custom device offerings, which are dedicated to making medication preparation and delivery safer and more efficient.

Among his favorite responsibilities is elevating Yukon Medical’s technical capabilities by developing young engineers and partnering with external experts.

Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, a joint MS/MBA with a concentration in Biotechnology from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the University of Florida. Tom enjoys spending free time with his wife and two children and is an enthusiastic, novice sailor.
