Arisure® Closed System Transfer Device

Arisure® Closed System
Transfer Device

At Yukon Medical, our Arisure product line was born out of a deep commitment to protecting healthcare professionals from hazardous drug exposure while ensuring seamless integration into their daily workflows. The Arisure system was designed with the clinician in mind, emphasizing ease of use, reliability, and minimal disruption to existing practices.

Our journey began with a fundamental question: How can we enhance safety without complicating the preparation and administration of hazardous medications? To find the answer, we worked closely with clinicians at every stage of development. Through extensive collaboration, we identified the key features that would make Arisure a valuable tool in any healthcare setting—features that prioritize safety, ease of use, and practicality.

The name “Arisure” reflects our core mission. It is a combination of the words “Arid,” meaning dry, and “Sure,” meaning certain or certainly dry. This name embodies our commitment to creating secure, dry connections that protect healthcare workers from unnecessary exposure to hazardous vapors and droplets. Every connection in the Arisure system is designed to remain dry and secure, providing peace of mind in even the most demanding clinical environments.

Our development process was rigorous and iterative. We continually reviewed prototypes and production units with clinicians to gather their feedback and refine our designs. This collaborative approach ensured that the final product consistently met the highest safety standards and addressed real-world clinical needs.

One of the most innovative aspects of the Arisure system is its hybrid connection design. By combining the familiarity of Luer-based connections with the added security of membrane-to-membrane seals, we created a system that leverages the best features of both technologies while minimizing their downsides. This unique approach provides a secure, easy-to-learn, and highly effective solution for managing hazardous drugs.

The result is a Closed System Transfer Device (CSTD) that healthcare professionals can trust. Arisure not only protects clinicians from hazardous exposure but also integrates effortlessly into their workflows, making it a reliable and indispensable part of their daily practice.

At Yukon Medical, we are proud to offer the Arisure product line as a testament to our dedication to safety, innovation, and collaboration with the healthcare community.

Arisure has received ONB clearance from the US FDA for its use as a Closed System Transfer Device (CSTD).
